I noticed that the factor Prime95 says it found from my use was already listed, but not as a P-1.
This is normal.
My site looks at the PrimeNet 1000 Most Recent Cleared Not-Prime report every hour and that catches pretty much all the new factor that are submitted to PrimeNet. Unfortunately what it does not capture is the P-1 bounds used. The report line for your factor is still there:
Jwb52z Clay 56412857 F-PM1 Jul 8 2012 11:34AM 2.9 3.5025 1474308968538937876322687
From this I currently just record the known factor (because this is useful, even without the P-1 details), but without B1/B2 I haven't been recording this as a P-1 factor, even though I know that it is P-1 and who did it and when. Perhaps I should reconsider. If the PrimeNet reports could include bounds (and ideally B-S values of "E") then the results could automatically be included as P-1 in my data. Right now it depends on the user submitting their results.txt |
Thank you. I didn't know it wasn't supplied with whose computer found the factor.
...but without B1/B2 I haven't been recording this as a P-1 factor, even though I know that it is P-1 and who did it and when. Perhaps I should reconsider.
I have reconsidered, and spidered results are now recorded as P-1 by the listed user/computer at the time indicated, but with B1=B2=E=0. If the user submits results.txt to the site then the values will be updated appropriately.
If the PrimeNet reports could include bounds (and ideally B-S values of "E") then the results could automatically be included as P-1 in my data.
If George is listening, and wants to tweak the SP that generates these reports to include B1/B2 on F-PM1 and F-ECM results, that would be fantastic. Something like changing "<factor>" to "<factor>;B1=<b1>;B2=<b2>;E=<e>" would be perfect (omitting E for ECM results). |

It would query t_gimps_results_log and returns the full result lines for P-1 results over the time period of your choice. You no longer have to worry about grabbing the hourly report or having the hourly report truncated. You should be able to create such a report in an hour or two. You could use such a report to grab all past P-1 results. |
How would he get latest results every time then? After the initial upload of past P-1 results, you certainly don't want to produce that whole log just to get (say) the last two weeks of P-1 work.

I'll discuss it with George and see what we can come up with.

How many P-1 tests are done per day?
(not counting those done by folk assigned LL tests requiriring P-1) David |

The above gives info for GPU72. Perhaps someone else knows how to dig up the data for all of PrimeNet.
Back when we could run custom date range report I would query P-1 completions for a time period and addup the attemps column. However this does NOT exclude those done as part of an LL assignment |
I can't remember 100 percent, but I think this is the thread I posted my last factor to, so forgive me if I should have put it somewhere else.
M56309941: P-1 found a factor in stage #1, B1=545000. UID: Jwb52z/Clay, M56309941 has a factor: 21878160101311995365897 It is 74.212 bits which is another one that was narrowly missed by previous work, I guess. |
