PrimeNet already does something like that internally, but what we're proposing is to make it explicitly external on the Manual Assignments page.
It has been on my to do list for a long while. I'll bump up its priority. |
a nice feature would be to, through primenet, be able to force a computer in your account (even better, a computer in your team, though this may cause security issues) to update itself.
a nice feature would be to, through primenet, be able to force a computer in your account (even better, a computer in your team, though this may cause security issues) to update itself.
That would be a security nightmare. I hate to think what happens when someone works out how to "update" everyone's PCs with their own malicious code by using the Prime95 autoupdate "feature". No Thanks.

true, in that case no

Is there any way to drop the "manual testing" cpu and "v4_computers" without losing their credit? The two extra cpu's in the team cpu's list is a bit confusing at first, until you see that they are manual testing and v4_computers
(I've upgraded all my computers from 24.14 already, so v4_computers "cpu" is now useless) |

When an assignment finishes while the Assignment Details page is loading, the latter will display a line for exponent 0 with Core: 0, Assigned: 1900-01-01 00:00, Updated: 1900-01-01 00:00 instead of the former.
Now since the Assignment Details page takes quite a while to load with 11,000+ assignments of only a few minutes each, on average, this isn't exactly a rare occurance... |

Wow...and I thought 200 assignments was a lot to manage. "Few minutes each...." sound like you are doing a lot of TF or TF-LMH. |
