If you have guts to split your tmp-file into 4 tasks (on your 2.6 GHz Phenom X4), you will done next weekend.[/quote]

Should you split for Phase 2 then :

Core1 make TEST 1-50
Core2 51-150
Core3 151-399
Core4 400-1027

The signification need 1 day

So the certification is 3-4 weeks earlier done.

Good news. The downrun of the first 10000 bits are done. So 7060 digits left and this are peanuts. In 4-5 weeks I also done with this huge number.

Best

2^26795+57083 is prime!

2^26795+57083 is a certified prime!

Primo completed its certification today. :smile:

Phil, let me know about the files you need to run the verification, and people who need to be contacted in case the verification completes correctly.

I guess there is room in Prof. Caldwell's prime database for this little beast...

Very cool, Luigi! By coincidence, Engracio just sent me the file for 2^25563+22193 which also completed its certification this week, and I am running the verification on it at the moment. It should finish today, and I can do yours next. What I need is the big OUT file, it is probably over 3 Mbytes in size. You can verify it yourself, but if you want me to do it, I would be happy to. moorep lanecc edu with at and dot inserted is my email address. Norman's monster will be the next to complete...

"Norman's monster will be the next to complete..."

Oh yes Phil :smile:.

Maybe next weekend. I'm now at 16500 bits (TEST 598).
Also runs the verification during Phase1 and 2.
So I need not wait once more 48 h for a valid certificate, e.g.
Phase 1 , Phase 2 and the verification is done on the same day.

The result:

Selected=1
Processed=1

Luigi, yes, but when you set "no hook" in the verification, so it taks about 30h for your number.
PRIMO proof every point , not just the signature.

ET_ 2009-11-20 17:29

Oh, I see... :smile: Thank you for the hints.

Started a new run after dechecking "Check signature only".
