PrimeNet now reporting two unverified primes again
PrimeNet now says "Prime, UNVERIFIED: 2" again. Did George or Scott manually change the number, or did GIMPS just find a third prime this year?
I believe it is the former case, but I wouldn't mind if GIMPS found yet another prime! By the way, these are the first-time exponents that were cleared between 19:00 and 20:00 UTC:
38861687 70 0x98799FD8117DCD__ 10-Sep-08 19:32 S142581 CD03C7709 41293789 69 0xF5E7AA3BD8D8E8__ 10-Sep-08 19:36 dec TP0902 41968943 69 0x2C163FBFD3D26F__ 10-Sep-08 19:11 dusty CF8E6AA42 42226411 69 0x50C3E076533828__ 10-Sep-08 19:16 curtisc wd-102--09l 42614401 70 0x2A925EAFAE9100__ 10-Sep-08 19:02 ahmerali idealmoh 43118381 69 0x8F71212336CC8D__ 10-Sep-08 19:09 linded LKDPYZ2-2
|
I doubt it, but that'd be quite amazing if it really is a third. I hope they don't hold out on the identity of the first two on us if it is a third, until the third's verification is done!
 BTW there's nothing with the known fake algorithm generator in this set, just like with "M46". |
Not a third prime. I thought of a workaround for the reporting bug.
