We're into Monday in a number of countries - but I don't know of any ahead of NZ. Kiribati did wangle the position of being the first country to see the new millenium by adjusting their local time to cover the Line Islands south of Hawaii...

It's still sunday in Europe, but hence a number of newspapers already came up with news about the two primes (of course without knowing their identity), I think it's about TIME to send the official press release.

Jeff started first for Aug23th. He is using a 128x Itanium2 machine while I used 2 different 16x Itanium2 machines. But it is better to be alone on a 16x machine that with many other programs on a 128x machine.
