PrimeGrid dump
Damn!! I thought I had a good day then I got 30K. Will have to save up for a while to beat their 1000K day.

wow with that many tests at a time do we wonder if there is a prime in there???
Or does/will primegrid post them as soon as they get them? |
I know if you look at the stats on their pages they have the number of primes found (currently 0) I would assume they watch for a prime and would do something if one popped up. I know with the recent prime found they canceled some of tests at that point - since they were useless at that point. So they obviously are watching to make sure no "extra" work is being done for something that already has a prime.

VJS - PrimeGrid runs tests on each k/n pair to get a quorum of 2 (2 different systems send in the same result) before any result is confirmed. I'm not sure if they post a 'prime found' after they get the first or second result, but they announce it very quickly. No sense in slowing up the works and not announcing a prime.

very cool, glad to see that they are thinking things through as well.
