S60 is complete to n=125K, and released. Nothing new found, so a total of 24 k's remain. Results has been e-mailed.
S58 is now being worked on by all my 6 cores and has an ETA in late june or late july, dependent on the amount of primes found. Take care everyone  Kenneth! |
I have doublechecked R36 all k's to n=25K. 97 k's were found prime for n=5K-25K. One missing prime was found:
19035*36^12815-1 Officially, there were: 194 k's remaining at n=5K 97 k's remaining at n=25K So exactly half of the k's were eliminated for n=5K-25K. This does not remove any k's subsequently found prime at higher n-levels by others for R36 or R6. Fortunately another prime was found by Rincewind for k=19035 at n=26629 so the missing prime did not affect the current k's remaining on the pages. For the search ranges shown on the pages, there are still 72 k's remaining for the base. I'm now reserving R36 all remaining k's at n=25K to n=50K and may take them to n=75K. I will effectively doublecheck all k's for n=25K-35K and several other k's for n=25K-50K that are already at n=50K or n=100K. I will be sieving n=25K-100K and so will post a fully-sieved file up to n=100K for whatever remains after I'm done. At different times, I'll be reviewing my files for lower bases such as this that were searched before the starting bases script was created and doublechecking some of them, especially somewhat "messy" bases that have several different search depths for different k's. Gary
R36 is complete to n=50K and released. There is an updated sieve file for n=50K-100K on the reservations page. Although already sieved to P=1T, it will need more sieving. A doublecheck was completed on all previous work done up to 50K. No additional problems found. 15 k's were verified prime for n=25K-35K and 4 new k's were found prime for n=35K-50K. 68 k's currently remain for the base at different search levels as shown on the pages. The 4 new primes found were: 25204*36^38198-1 106302*36^39837-1 40995*36^40912-1 51434*36^48855-1 For historical balancing reference there were: 194 k's remained at n=5K 97 k's found prime for n=5K-25K so 97 k's remained at n=25K 19 k's found prime for n=25K-50K so 78 k's remained at n=50K Balancing the 78 k's remaining at n=50K to the current 68 k's remaining as shown on the pages by happenstance is simple. There are exactly 10 primes shown in the top-10 on the main page, which happen to be the only primes for n>50K found for the base and all of those k's were remaining at n=50K. Those 10 primes were either found by the Riesel base 6 effort or by Willem in his partial search of n=50K-100K. Since the base has all of its primes spread out in many places, I am attaching a file of all primes found up to n=50K. |

I would like to reserve S48 to n=100K

Mathew has reported completion of R51 to n=10K. 11947 k's were found prime for n=3K-10K; 16573 k's are remaining; the base is released.
Nice work Mathew! |

Nuggetprime has reported in a PM that S42 is at n=46.9K; 11 primes have been found since n=25K; 32 k's remain; continuing to n=50K. A list of primes:
