LLR/PRP/phrot/pfgw:- Pick A Range
Reservations available - the files may be found here. We'll see how this goes...
LLR: Pick a Range This thread is meant for you to reserve ranges for probable primality testing (LLR/PRP). Please send results files (with residues) to base5 DOT factors AT yahoo DOT com. Riesel Candidates prpnet.prp approx 1600 candidates completed by PRPNET prpnet.prp.2 approx 5800 candidates reserved by PRPNET Sierpinski Candidates exps4 approx 435 candidates reserved by masser Primes
71098*5^319336+1 rogue 287626*5^277175-1 Free-DC Mercenaries
Note: -- messages posted on this thread can be deleted without notice, during the cleaning process. Questions
Can I post here the results or do I have to send them by email?
It should not be a problem if you link to the results files here. I would prefer email, but leave it up to you.
Hi, what's this "section" about? I sieved some Factors and are finishing some PRP/LLRs, but, what is the content of the linked files? Is this somethin like doubletesting?
This thread is for those people that don't have networked machines but still want to test candidate pairs for primality. Also, as noted elsewhere, there are alternative (and faster) testing clients to LLRNET, such as phrot, LLR, PRP and pfgw. |
Stickied Reservation
I stickied the thread AND I am reserving exps4.

Hi,
is there any new work for this section expected? |
Yes, but my inbox for my day job is a little full right now. Please be patient with us.

Manual testing
Hi, its me again *g*
if I want to test a certain K-value manualy, is it correct if I use
sr5sieve -a k n-min n-max
to get my workfile? And send the results to the e-mail adresse in the first post? If it is correct, which n-min value should I use? "min n untested", "max n tested"? |

OK, I created a file for k = 126134, Nmin= 330949 and Nmax 2000000
sr5sieve -g 126134 330949 2000000
renamed the generated file to "expr" and started phrot with
phrot.3-linxu.static -0 expr
is this correct? (any answers please) |

errr ... yeah, I meant "o" not "0". Sorry.
Thanks for the answer. |
