Taking 1153-1155.

A 40k block is great, and on 8 cores would be done in a month or less. Since most drives are done in order, do you object to taking 1160-1200? I will be happy to test up to 1160 myself if nobody else does- I plan to put one core on this drive for a month or two, more once my own reservations reach the depth this drive is tested to. If you prefer 1200+ exponents, I'm sure we'll reach 1200 as a group soon enough.

Over a longer term, I use the drives to look for primes at sizes I haven't already found. I'm interested in this drive up to 1164 and from 1230 to 1260- part of the reason taking a 100k block for what is supposed to be a team effort doesn't sit well with me. I do want to do some of the work, but I choose the exponents to suit my goals. In fact, I'd like to do 1240-1260 when you get 1200-1240 done; I would commit a quad (or more) to that block while you get 1260 to 1300.

I could run that range instead of the low 1300's.

I would help from 1300 to 1360, but it's not too important to me yet. I attempt to find a prime for every 10k digits, and already have one in the high 1300's.

I am missing a prime in the mid-600's, so I'll be working on the 9th and 10th drives shortly also as they reach a level I want a prime for.

I still don't think 3 or 4 month blocks of reservations are in the spirit of a team drive. You may well end up doing all or nearly all of that block, but nobody gains from you staking it out this far ahead of time. I may do a 10k block up there, I may not. I'll decide once the drive gets that far. A month or so at a time, 40k in your 8-core plans, makes sense to me. To do bigger blocks of work, just reserve and sieve your own k.
