Notepad shows them all in one line, while wordpad shows them normally. If you like seeing the file as it is meant to be displayed, use "open with", select wordpad, then save from wordpad immediately. All better.

This is a "feature" of text compression when emailing files, from what I can tell; srfile creates files that windows/notepad open normally.
