Well I finished my 18Ms a while back and now have a bunch of 20Ms and a heap of P-1 assignments in the 46-47M range. I assigned the latter to myself manually.
Now I can only watch the progress on the 18 and 19Ms but I have two cores contributing to the M(20996011) milestone. |
M18000989 48% done

alright, i moved around my assignments and put all of my doublecheck <21,000,000 onto my Core i7. I have 4 that should all be done within 8 days, and then I think that's it for mine.

I have 6 that I will push along .... but I won't be done near 8 days ... maybe mid August. |
How much of a jump is expected in the "All exponents below X have been tested and double checked" milestone once M18000989 has been DCed?
How much of a jump is expected in the "All exponents below X have been tested and double checked" milestone once M18000989 has been DCed?
Wherever the next higher one is that won't have been DCed by then.
April 26, 2005: All exponents below 10,000,000 double-checked. (13-1/2 months for next 3,000,000 -- about 4-1/2 months per million) June 13, 2006: All exponents below 13,000,000 double-checked. (3 months) September 11, 2006: All exponents below 14,000,000 double-checked. (7-1/2 months) April 23, 2007: All exponents below 15,000,000 double-checked. (7-1/2 months) December 3, 2007: All exponents below 16,000,000 double-checked. Then it took 7 months to go to "All exponents below 17,000,000 double-checked", and 7-1/2 more months to go on to "All exponents below 18,000,000 double-checked." At that 7-to-7-1/2 rate, it'd be October this year when all below 19,000,000 will have been DCed. So my guess is that the jump will be to about 19M or less. |

You can look at it yourself through a LL results query: http://v5www.mersenne.org/report_LL/?exp_lo=18000000&exp_hi=19000000&exp_date=&user_only=0&exdchk=1&exbad=1&exfactor=1&dispdate=1&B1=Get+LL+data |

From 18000989 to 18297089, a jump of 296100. 18297089 has had two unmatching, non-suspect LLs run. Most of that list is the same scenario. |
17 assignments; 8 different assignees.

18000989 62% done (was on vacation yesterday, so minor delay)
