Still no primes. ETA for 800K is 4/21. |

Status: k=375 n=624K k=381 n=609K k=391 n=616K[/quote] Very good. With almost all k<300 now at n=800K, I'd like to see k=300-400 all tested to n=700K by about the end of June or so. I see that we're now down to just 11 k's that haven't been started yet. Once the sieving drive is done, I'll probably reserve the remainder of k's that haven't been reserved yet for n=600K-700K and let those 3 quads hack away at them until they are complete to n=700K. By the end of June, here is a target for us and the prime-searching community for Riesel primes: All k<300 at n=800K-850K. All k=300-400 at n=700K. All k=400-1001 at n=650K-675K. All k=1003-1400 at n=600K. (Peter recently reported completion to n=500K with him being "about halfway" complete for n=500K-600K.) All k=1400-2000 at n=550K. Having that gradual downward sloping n-range as the k-ranges increase is what I had hoped for when the project started. We're definitely closing in on it. Now, what shall we ultimately do about k=2000-4000 and higher? I'll leave that discussion for the long-off future. Ian, thanks for updating the primes and reservations so quickly. BTW, I changed k=616 to k=391 on your status. Gary |

As the only k's < 350 that are not currently at n>=700K, I'll reserve k=319, 325, 335, and 347 for n=600K-700K only. I'll likely take them to n=750K or 800K a little later on but I don't want to stop anyone from taking n>700K for them now.
With the 6k drive now at n>700K, I'll pull some resources off of that to search these. I'm working towards getting all k=300-400 to n=700K over the next several months. Gary |
k=349 and 353 are complete to 720K, continuing.
Still no primes. ETA for 800K is 4/21. |
reserving all 7 k's (351,355,357,361,363,365,369) in post #1 for n=600k to 620k to push these lowest processed k's a little bit higher!

Thanks for pushing those a bit higher Karsten!
To all, I have removed references to already posted files. It would be a bit of a nuisance to keep posting the next higher file up for many different k's at different n-ranges. If we go on the slippery slope of that, we'd have to post n=700K-720K for my 4 k's in addition to n=620K-640K for Karsten's 7 k's. If anyone wants to reserve a range, please post it here. 4 of us now can send you the file(s) needed so you shouldn't have to wait more than a few hours. Gary |
status report on k=311 and 337
both tested till n=1.4M - I am still working on those.
