Oh! Somehow I was under the impression that either a) Gary had already sent you all the master sieve files; or b) he'd sent you the files for 375, 377, 381, and 391 sometime since you posted your reservation. I'll send you the sieve files for all k=300-400, n=600K-1M shortly. You should then be all set for all future k reservations, and also be able to provide such sieve files for anyone else if need be. Edit: Oh, and I'll also load up another 20K or so into GB4000. There doesn't seem to have been too much interest in manual reservations on the 7th Drive lately, so I'm thinking that loading up a bigger file than the usual 10K into the server would be wise so it will last longer. |
Thanks Max. I was the only one doing reserved files on Drive 7 anyway so you just may as well load them into the server. Less work all around that way. Feeling better? Get rid of that bug you had?

Yes, I'm all better now. Thanks for asking. BTW, even after we've loaded a 20K file into the server, you can still make manual reservations on Drive #7. Granted, they'll be a little farther ahead of the server's active n-level than they would be if we'd loaded a 10K file, but that's not too big a deal since it's all got to be done eventually, anyway. |
Sorry guys. I've only had limited internet access this trip. Thanks for sending Ian the files Max.
I had calculated there would be enough in port GB4000 until I got back Thursday but going ahead and loading a big file before then works. Gary |
