I'd like to confirm what you have loaded and in what order you have loaded it into port 443 for this drive: First: k=341 for n=600K-1M. Second: k=315 for n=700K-1M. That's what I'm currently showing for you port 443. Is that correct? Also, I'm showing that you will be running k=315 for n=600K-700K yourself, correct? I'm asking because Nuggetprime asked about running a mini-drive on 4-5 k's on this drive. What do you think about that? If you like the idea, would you like it done with manual files or run through yours (or someone else's) LLRnet server?
All correct. Better run the mini-drive with manual files. |
k=397 800-1000 complete 2 primes already reported

k = 359 600 -700 complete no primes

k=341 (C6000) is done up to 700k.

Please send me k=399

Done. :smile: |
k = 359 700-800 complete no primes

k=303 is at n=972K
k=309 is at n=923K nothing to report I've now put k=309 on two cores to speed things along. |
Although this will be low priority against our upcoming k=1005-2000 sieving and testing drives that I'll likely get started here in the next 2 days, I'd like to suggest that we take the 5 lowest unreserved k's here that are divisible by 3 and make a mini-drive out of them. All k's would be searched together upwards by n-value like our current 5th/6th/7th drives. The k's would be 321, 327, 333, 339, and 345.
All have > 19500 pairs and so are relatively heavy weight. Each would take quite a while for a single person to do so running a mini-drive on them will help move this effort along in the upcoming year. What does everyone think? Should we do it with a server or with manual reservations or both? I would lean towards manual reservations unless it stalls out at some higher n-ranges. Then we could discuss putting a server on one of my machines to finish it up. Gary |

Gary
Sounds like a good idea; yes, I agree, we should stick with manual reservations at first unless it stalls that way. That way we won't have "server overload"--after all, we already have C6000 doing work from these individual k's. |
I'm going as fast as I can to finish my manual k's then I'll be dedicating my time on C6000. For starting, the mini-drive can be available only for manual reservation but then we can feed C6000 with such work.
341 is now at 770k and 305 is almost done to 900k, one more day or so. |
