OK, that's a good idea on "Automated Primaility Testing with LLRnet" thread. Can you add a link to it in the "Come Join Us" thread and unsticky it whenever you get a chance?
Thanks, Gary
Okay, I'll do that shortly... |
If you are using nplb.ironbits.net as your server and and want to be emailed a notification that you have found a prime on this server automatically, then send me an email with your
user='username' email address to use: 'somebody@someplace.net' Of course, you need to substitute 'username' and 'somebody@someplace.net' with your real values for me to use. Send it to me at IronBits gmail com please. Thanks, IB |
I just had a brain malfunction, and deleted the workfiles from my octocore. So any workunits from IB400 assigned to me except for ones on the list below can be recycled. I think it should be around 55 pairs in all
475 589863 483 590116 641 590258

David, Can you easily take care of this so that his pairs are reassigned quickly? If it's not an easy thing, no big deal. They'll come back around to be processed in 3 days, which won't delay us any. Thanks, Gary |
Me no touchy the knpairs.txt except to add more to it.
Stats will look weird today because the processing didn't take place for 2 hrs 20 mins after midnight. I'll take a look and see what I can do with it in the morning. I believe I have the automated email thing working now, just need to add in the updates to the front page part... I'm converting all the DOS script stuff to vbscript, so I am carefully going through it all slowly. (so someday a windows person can use it all, if need be, and Max has the perl stuff going for the *nix side) To give you an idea, DOS can take 4-5 minutes to process a results.txt file for everything we need out of it. vbscript does it in only 1-2 seconds. |
C443 is now working on k=341 ( from 600k to 1M) and it's currently n=619.74k

Excellent. Are all of the pairs cleared out for the 1st drive? |

Yes, Lennart gave there a little boost...lol |
What's up with the IB400 progress report?
|
I'm converting DOS to vbscript, so there will be some snags along the way.
I'm hoping to eventually get it down to just one script that manages everything and runs every hour. Based on Date and Hour, it will do different things. I'm waiting for someone to hit another prime so I can see if the auto-notify function works correctly, which runs every 15 minutes. Because these are static pages, no data is ever lost, I can rebuild any day from the results.txt files. |
