The necessary to burn the server down...

As many as you like! The server is running on a Linux host, just like David's servers, so it should theoretically be able to support at least as many clients (from a software point of view, at least).
Max Works just fine from this end. I just popped up on the Results processed today by: . The transition from 1 pair to the next is quite fast. I'm not logged on more than a second. Everything else is visable except what you what mentioned. Great job.:juggle:
Glad to hear it's all working well! Now we've just got to find some primes so we can test the prime-tracking system.

Okay, thanks for the boost, and for the nice stress test!

Oh, I forgot to mention earlier: if you'd like a copy of my scripts as you previously indicated, I can send them to you. However, be forewarned that as yet none of them are in the least bit modular--all of the details regarding the specific servers, the paths to the various files, etc. are hard-coded in, and nothing is split up into subroutines for easy adding/removing of servers. That's one of the things on my future to-do list for these scripts. (In fact, that would make things a lot easier for me personally, too--as it is now, it would be somewhat of a pain in the butt to add a second server to my scripts.)

I'll take what you have and always give you anything I have in the way of scripts.
Adding in extra servers and defining paths isn't that to difficult...

Hey, I was noticing that in the llr-serverconfig.txt file there is an option to run something when a prime is found. That would be way cool if you could get a .pl script to run to do the emailing of when primes are found

Okay, cool. Actually, what might be even better is for you to simply tell me the respective paths to all the server files, and the directory that your web server will look for files in, and I, being more familiar with the script of course (believe me, it's a zoo ), can tweak it for your servers, then send it to you. Then all you'll need to do is pop it in a crontab and you'll be good to go.
