AES, this is sad news! What the heck???
I thought everything was going smooth over there? |
The non-communicative operator of "nplb.rieselprime.org" will shut down all services at about 6:00 PM EST, 9/15/08.
Please direct all llrnet clients elsewhere.
Hmmz, I got all my cores on that server ... |

Help us on drive #4. |

Sure thing, I didn't have a lot of luck on AES anyway. In fact I'm the one with the worst average on AES. I'm really going to miss the live stats though :cry::cry::cry: 4 Cores moved so far, more to come ... |
It's sad but we will think in another way to bring some stats. IronBits, could you talk with Bok to see what he can do for us? Thanks in advance.
MrOzzy, I see you on C443, thanks for joining. Plenty of primes in there. In case you find one I'll send you a PM notification, ok? |
During an honest attempt to privately negotiate with RPS about this effort and cool the rift between the 2 projects, I made a mistake and forwarded something to Adam that was intended for Anon. Without going into public detail about it, I misunderstood the intent of a short response from him to mean cutting off of communication.
I've apologized profusely to him in 2 PM's and I'm hoping that he will see them later Monday and reconsider. If not, David has kindly offered to take his MySQL databases and .PHP scripts and incorporate them into his server(s) if Adam will be kind enough to forward this info. on to David. Please accept my, as of now, public apology for the misderected PM Adam. There's nothing more that I can do or say at this point. Gary |

I don't have that automatic e-mail thing set up. I'll send you a PM or email. Carlos |
Port 300 appears to now be off line. I have updated the server info. in the appropriate places.
David, please set us up with port 6500 sometime today if possible. I'm in the process of determining what k/n pairs are remaining. I'll send you a file to load into it on Tuesday. Thank you, Gary |
I'll setup another nplb for port 6500.

David, I'm sure you'll appreciate that I'm attempting to do a little consolidation of the servers here. For now, you can get rid of port 6500. Sorry about that. As robust as your servers have proven to be, I think just having port 400 on the 1st drive is sufficient. That way, we have one server per drive. When we have a rally again on the 1st and 3rd drives, Carlos can come in with his port C443 and people can also run port 5000; splitting up their cores amongst the servers to avoid any calamities related to too many people running one server. I have determined exactly what k/n pairs were remaining to be processed in the n=537K-540K range when Adam stopped his server. I will send those to you later today for loading at the end of port 400. To all, David is working very hard to get the automated stats back online similar to what Adam (AES) had in his port 300. Per Emails I've received from him, it appears he has the conversion process almost complete that allows him to produce the records that are needed to update the stats. David, correct me if I'm wrong there. Stay tuned! This is very exciting! When we get the stats online and the OGR project is done (likely mid-to-late Oct.), I'm hoping to entice some Free-DC folks with many cores to our projects for rallies.
