If you don't get a better offer to help someone you can have 18.8M. I was going to do it when I get home next week but I have other options.
Thanks
Thanks, I will start 18.8M now that 16.3M is finished. I will work from the bottom up. If anyone wants to work on the top of the range, just post a message here (or PM), so we can coordinate. |

Yarrr!! This factor is noteworthy from at least two reasons, and those are not considering its 129 bits size... First, it was missed by the first (anon) run. Then, it was found in stage 1. Ha! I bet the anon guy is now banging their head against the wall...
Hmmm, but almost 20 years later. |

There are only two factors missing in my range 14.1M. If you want, I can reserve the range 18.85M to 18.9M. |

You might want to clarify with masser. I think this is what he means by "bottom". |

That works for me. I'm starting with 18.80M, then 18.81M,etc. I'll stop at 18.85M. |

Ok. I will start as soon the range 14.1M is complete. |
Can we simplify the twok table by collapsing all the 1M sub-tables into a single big one with just one header and one "Totals"?
Less than 500 factors remaining
Less than 20 ranges remaining
|
This will be my penultimate status update.
Now that I'm back home...
My next and last update will be when the project is 100% complete. I am expecting that to be about mid April. Ranges completed since the last update (mid January) .... too many to list ... all I can says is WOW!!! There are only 15 ranges remaining and all are in progress. Over 97% of the total ranges are cleared. 3,291 factors since the last update Over 99% of the total factors required have been found. Less than 400 to go. Me personally: My GPUS are factoring where help is most needed. My 5 CPUs are nearing completion of my last 4 ranges. I expect it will be about 2 more weeks. The other remaining ranges should be mostly done or near done by then, but once I am finished I may ask if anyone needs a little help to finish. ========= Then I'll be moving on to the follow-on project mentioned here about a week ago. More details to follow in a few days as several of you have run out of work here... and if you are interesting in the next project I feel the need to provide a little more clarity. @Chris is nearing completion of a status table similar the that which he provides for this project. :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t: |

I am expecting that to be about mid April.
With my current procedure (hitting 7.8M with really high bounds), I will take likely longer. What do you suggest:

Giving up my high bounds and prefer clearing the range?
Proceed as is?
Since my stage 1 is currently a lot more efficient: provide save files such that other can help with my high bounds?
Any input/suggestions is/are appreciated! |
