RPS 8th Drive Restarted From 700k
 
We are starting another drive with 20 more high weight Ks,
3000 < k < 10000, given below. None of them have primes reported
to the Top-5000 site except k=6555 previously tested by Larry.

3345, 3975, 4935, 5025, 5355, 5445, 5535, 5865, 6165, 6369,
6555, 6705, 6975, 7215, 7245, 8235, 8295, 9015, 9075, 9441.

All candidates were sieved to p=20T (the optimal depth), mostly by Thomas, helped by Adam,
Dave, and me. The range of n is 380-700k. We already started tests from
n=380k but if somebody wants to start from 400k please help yourself.

MyDogBuster (L644) reserved and already started to test k=8235 and k=9015. I arranged with him that we keep k=9015, and we test k=8235 to n=405k. He will test k=8235 from n=405k. He already found a k=8235 prime at 389k (which I confirmed) but he will stop his tests and will continue from 405k.

We are continuing with 19Ks, and k=8235 to n=405k. Our already reserved files are not affected except 405-406. I hope Dave can remove k=8235 from that file. Files listed for download in post 1 don't contain k=8235.

Beyond told me that he tested k=9015, 9075, and 9441 from n=450k, as he sieved them independently before we started the drive. He is now checking the ranges he tested, and after that we can remove some Ks from n>450k test files.

It's up to you, I've stopped the range for now at n=467k. I will remove the all k's that conflict with the 8th drive.

okay, I removed k=9015, 9075, 9441 from test files in the 450-465 interval. From 465k we'll continue with all 19 Ks.

But I just noticed that L644 posted
9015*2^435418-1
as a prime although I made a deal with him that we test k=9015 and he tests k=8235. I don't know what's going on, PrimeSearch already reserved more than 1000 Ks (300-2000, plus I don't know what), but it appears it's never enogh.

I mailed L644, and will wait for his reply.

BTW, I'm taking 445-446.

Got mail from MyDogBuster (L644), he apologized and said he will stop testing k=9015. We realized that during our initial exchange at one point we mistakenly reffered to 9015 as 9105, and since he also reserved 9105 he stopped that one instead of 9015.
