feeding back results from Prime95

Hi there,
I'd like to contribute to trial factoring > 1,000,000,000. However, I wasn't succesful in installing mfaktc or mfakto on my computer.
I got some assignments from http://www.mersenne.ca/tf1G.php and inserted them in the worktodo.txt of Prime95.
I got the following error message: "PrimeNet error 40: No assignment" because PrimeNet accepts only smaller numbers.
How can I upload the results now?

What exponents were you testing?

Exponents in the 332,000,000 range yield decimal numbers in the 100,000,000 digit range.

If you want to run numbers in the 1,000,000,000 decimal digit range your exponents need to be in the 3,320,000,000 range.

What else did the error say? Result not needed?

Mersenne.ca accepts factoring data for exponents up to 4.29 billion (2[SUP]32[/SUP]). However Mersenne.org (PrimeNet) only stores data for exponents up to 1.00 billion.

Here is the link to the new page on Mersenne.ca where you upload your results file. It expects an mfaktc/mfakto output file, but maybe the format is similar to mprime, I'm not sure.

mprime is not as efficient as mfaktc/mfakto for factoring. Actually, I'm not sure if mprime is even capable of factoring exponents larger than 1.00 billion. Maybe you should try again to see if you can install mfaktc/mfakto.

I found a solution.
I copy the assignments from http://www.mersenne.ca/tf1G.php into the worktodo.txt of Prime95 and run them on Prime95.
Then I take the results from results.txt and bring them into a format that can be read at http://www.mersenne.ca/bulk-factors.php.

"UID: martinwilke1980, M1250011439 no factor from 2^64 to 2^65, We4: DD667E59"
is reformatted to "no factor for M1250011439 from 2^64 to 2^65 [mfaktc 0.21 ]"

"UID: martinwilke1980, M1250011927 has a factor: 40071650026507719343 (TF:64-66)"
is reformatted to "M1250011927 has a factor: 40071650026507719343"

I made a spreadsheat that parses the input text and that creates the output text.

I copy the output text into a texteditor, save it as a txt file and then upload it.
