I think it's one of those babysitters going to the extreme. Maybe a login system where users could be banned would work? For instance, I can submit curves as "Engelbert Humperdinck" or any other jumble of letters in the world. A login system would:

1. Force users to use their own username for curve reporting
2. Allow Syd to ban users who register as "Bill Gates" and the like before they report any curves.
