It's starting to get ugly!

Keep your fingers crossed! At an awe-inspiring height, we're looking at c154 = 2[sup]7[/sup] * 3[sup]2[/sup] with a c[sub]140[/sub] GNFS job possibly in the future. And it's still in high gear! (In fact with the exponent creeping up one, it's added a little bit of speed.)

We need to catch a lucky break soon!

Actually, it is 2^7*3^2*17. The good news is that, because of the 17, the 3^2 will stick around. So, with a favourable split, you can drop the 2^7. Bad news is, it ain't gonna be on this iteration.

ECM efforts are currently around t40; we need to do a few 11e6 curves, maybe 1/3 of t45, before doing a GNFS.
