Uhhhh.... you tested 1.5M to 2.2M in FIVE WEEKS?
  Curtis
There were some bits that had already been tested but there were 10,224 tests taking about 52 million seconds on 18 cores (which is about 5 weeks).

What about 1M to 2.5M? If you are only interested in huge primes, I'm sure someone will fill in the gap but consider testing from our current status at 1M. Curtis Edit Heck, I'll probly start filling the gap in Jan or Feb if nobody else does...
The dozen cores I have working on k=127 are almost finished with their work to 4M, the end of my sieve. I'll have resources for these reservations in the next few weeks.
Reserving k=93 and k=111 again. Full status update coming soon. Curtis

Reserving k=93 and k=111 again.
That conflicts with a previous reservation: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=231788&postcount=390 But that's OK, you can have k=93 since I haven't started working on it yet.
Oh, sorry moomoo I didn't see it colored on the 15k.org page. I certainly won't test it if you are going to I can pick something else. Your choice I won't be starting on the new picks until sometime in november anyway. If you'd like 93, I can work on Retep's k=51 gap from 1M.

I am thinking on exploring a k<300, but I wouldn't like redoing someone else's job. So I was trying to see which k's are available to pick one I like. I initially checked the tables/lists in here and here and then tried to match the data with the some of the last posts in this 17pages (!!!) thread. However, even like that, not being able to find an updated complilation, I have the feeling I might be stepping in someone else's feet.
Could you point me to an updated list?
Also, where can I find a sieved list, or do I sieve myself? Thanks.

Could you point me to an updated list?
The first link you have there is our most updated list. Kosmaj updates that page every few weeks; with the holidays it has been a little longer than normal. With that delay in mind, you need only consult this thread's posts since the date posted at the top of that riesellist page. Sieving has been done by the primesearchteam forum. You can either register over there and get the files from the source, or simply PM me your email address and the k you wish a sieve file for. Sieves are available from n=1 to n=3M and k=5 to k=10,000 at this time. Curtis

Peter, k=19 at 3M, that's great!!
Can you consider now switching to k=9 from n=2106k, setting the target at 3M. It's already tested (by you!) in the n=23664872406243 range. Of course, if you wish, you can keep on testing k=19. Thanks.
Peter,
If you decide to switch to k=9, and if are using the sieve file provided by Psieve, please note that they keep even exponents in the sieve file. However, 9*2^2k1 is a difference of two squares and cannot be prime. Therefore, before starting tests, please remove all even exponents from the input file. You can do that easily using the grep command.
Yes, that sounds great. I am happy to give k=19 a rest now & have a go at k=9. Thanks for the reminder about the even numbers too!

k=191 also tested to n=3M, continuing...

The plan is to test all k<300 to n=2M by slowly increasing the limit (n_max) of all Ks beginning with small ones. We'll start the 2nd megabit drive featuring Ks between k=100 and k=200 now at n=1M soon. For individual reservations please consider k>200 (for the time being).

Before you start the new drive, I would like any one of the k's under 200 I had previously tested. Those are 149,179,197 I don't care much which.
Is this possible? Also, I have 5 or 6 cores working on 11 and 13 until 3M. I expect 2.4M in May, and hope for 2.6M by end of summer. Curtis
