Thomas11 released k=195 at n=3M on 2019-04-29 in this topic.

I am picking it up and planning to run it for a long while.

I've added the primes and the UTM links. I tried to add the reservation, but the template doesn't seem to like multiple people sharing a reservation. I'll PM Karsten about it. I used the larger prime as the max n and the update date. Do you have more current data for those?

Thanks. I have asked Vincent your question. The maximum tested is not much greater than the largest prime, but the minimum untested is much smaller because of the way we search with large batch files on various hardware.

kar_bon 2020-03-10 08:39

I've made a small template change:
a list of reserver is now possible in the Riesel templates parameter RReserved.

A issue to solve: those should also listed in a seperate hidden subpage for the persons, so you could see you own reservation via "{{My reservations}}" entry on your person page.
This will be done late thann.
Thanks for the hint.

I'm almost done with all posts of this thread for the Wiki history, next all primes found thread.
After that I will update all k<300 Riesel Wiki pages.

PS: I've reset the max range tested to the last, because it seems unclear by now.

diep 2020-03-10 14:34

Yes for k=69 testing the min and max wouldbe 6.17M and 7.03M at the moment, yet that max quickly gets larger as 7.0M+ just started running.

As it's load balanced to give each n batches roughly the same calculationpower to test yet then there is still n-i batches left with i very small.

Status update.

Finally all my reserved k's tested to n=6M. No new primes. Slowly going forward.

k=9 @ n=6M
k=29 @ n=6M
k=33 @ n=6M
k=71 @ n=6M
k=253 @ n=6M

kar_bon 2020-03-13 13:11

It's done:

The Wiki contains all history entries from this thread up to the last post.

There're many reservations ongoing for several years or no information of unreserving given in this thread.
For k=255 there were no other information, although it seems to be checked to n=2M.

Please check your reservations on the current table here.

Suggestion:
To keep the work minimal, report any status with new work done in this thread about all 3 months; every few days or a month seems too much, and the efforts may be less while n is increasing.

Any erros or missing primes please post in the Wiki thread here.

kuratkull 2020-03-13 13:46

Beautiful work - the table is a joy to explore around in. I was kind-of sad to see all the outdated tables trying to do the same thing and trying to make sense of the situation regarding a k.

I remember when I first joined up ages ago the situation with k<300 was probably as messy as it was here until now. Back then I just ended up choosing my own huge k and ran that due to it being the path of least resistance. With the table and reservations cleanly laid out (and hopefully kept up to date) it is much easier for (new?) people to come and run numbers in k<300.
Thank you!

Wow, looks like I have some k's not updated in years. Here's a full update:
k=13 4.4M active on 2 cores
k=45 3.65M active on 2 cores
k=93 2.63M active on 1 core
k=99 2.6M reserved
k=109 4M reserved
k=127 7.1M active on 2 cores
k=167 3.15M active on 1 core
k=197 3.02M reserved EDIT: Unreserved, reserved by kuratkull
k=201 3.2M active on 2 cores
k=229 2M active on 2 cores (just started again, forgot this one)
k=231 2.35M active on 2 cores
k=249 unreserved

k's above 300 I still work on:
k=405 2M
k=443 3.49M
k=2115 1.56M
k=2145 1.56M
k=2175 1.56M

The folks with 213 and 31/221 reserved are former students of mine; I'll drop them each a note and ask for an update.

VBCurtis 2020-03-13 17:01

k=197 released to Kuratkull, who will now have 193-195-197 all reserved.

kuratkull- if/when I locate results from 3000k-3020k, I'll post them to this thread for you.

kar_bon 2020-03-13 21:56

Thanks for the info.
Updated your last results, for Steven: look at k=207 also.

So the history helps here to remind contributors.

Too bad you didn't find anything k=89 * 2^n - 1 until 4M.

Taking over k=89 then. will search it then from 4M to 6M (or maybe 7M) and then release it again probably will let you know when i release it.

YaoPlaysMC 2020-12-11 01:23

Reserving k = 165. It's a k value with a high Nash weight but hasn't been reserved in over 7 years.
