As others have said, the previous results turned in by users using Amazon EC instances have been very reliable. I don't think I've ever seen a bad result.

Same goes for just about any other server with ECC memory. The only time I remember seeing bad results from those were due to very specific circumstances (the false positives that one user was turning in from one of his servers).

Do you have some magic for managing so many machines and assignments? I just have a few spot instances that come and go, so I keep all the state in EFS. But I think that would get messy with 2400 instances.
