This has been brought up on the mailing list today. The Fenland pool seems to be unconscious. A workaround is to stop the client, delete the projects/pool directory, and restart the client. It will then reregister and go to the Longhorn pool...or at least mine did.

For reasons as yet unknown, the Fenland pool wedged. The Cantab pool, running on the same hardware and serviced by the same instance of IIS, continued running without problem.

It has now been fixed, as far as we can tell.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

greg: i didnt reinstall it to use the Longhorn pool, i've just take my hurt in patience ;)

no problem paul, like specialists say: "shit happens", so its oky.

btw, good holidays, and don't worry about Fenland, eveything would be oky :showoff:

Junky, are you saying that in your GUI on the "Progress" tab where is says Project it now shows ??? instead of 10_223P_2?

When you were having problems before, did you re-install the client in a different directory or move files around at all? If you look at your "Config" tab, is the "Processor Directory" pointing to the correct location for your data?

Did you try exiting the GUI and reloading it again?

Jeff.

i dunno why it happens, but it seems the processor directory has change, so i've set it back, and now its oky.

Thanks.
