Well, I made it up to a total count of 8295@43e6.

I'll take 36 to 38M to see if I've gotten this part right this time...

Edit: Very Disappointing!!! Every one of my 32-bit machines gave a segmentation fault with gnfs-lasieve4I15e!

I will keep the reservation and see if I can track this down, but I don't have a lot of time right now...

bsquared 2013-02-12 20:08

I'll take 10-20.

RichD 2013-02-14 14:47

I'll take 32-36M.

bsquared 2013-02-14 15:20

Taking 20-25... and the post-processing.

bsquared 2013-02-15 14:58

And... taking the rest (25-32). Should be done by the end of the weekend. RichD and EdH, is it ok with you to use sendspace/rapidshare/file-hosting-site-o-the-month to transfer stuff? I don't have an ftp site to use. EdH, have you gotten things to work on your boxen?

None of my 32-bit machines are working, but I'm sieving with my 64-bit machines. They are plodding along. I'll see if I can get a better handle and ETA in a little while.

sendspace is fine...

EdH 2013-02-15 17:29

One of the machines is looking like 5 days to complete its range. It might be better if I upload what I have done tomorrow and let you run with that. I have ~4.5M relations, if I've calculated correctly.

Lost a power supply overnight. Pulled the hard drive and moved it to another box. Not sure if I will be done by end of weekend but can post an update tomorrow.

I have a DropBox account - no problem.

bsquared 2013-02-16 02:06

Sometime monday would be fine too. I expect my job will end sometime overnight sunday, so I won't be able to do anything till monday anyway.

I'll upload what I have on Sunday evening, then...

RichD 2013-02-16 16:14

Each core (of i5) is running 1M. I'll upload mid-morning on Monday. It looks like they will only be about 2/3 complete (in each 1M).

EdH 2013-02-18 04:40

Here are the sendspace links for all the relations I have:

4788i5144a.tar.bz2

4788i5144b.tar.bz2

4788i5144c.rels.tar.bz2

I show 5989923 relations, but I haven't removed any duplicates. Let me know if there is anything out of the oridinary with them. These are from the 64-bit machines, when the 32-bit machines wouldn't sieve.

bsquared 2013-02-18 14:43

I got em, thanks. Everything looks fine.

RichD 2013-02-18 15:48

Uploading now. Each file (1M) has nearly 2.2M rels and less than 8K dups, as reported by remdups4.

RichD 2013-02-18 17:34

Upload complete.

bsquared 2013-02-18 22:04

Got 'em, thanks. I'll start the post-processing tonight.
Got 'em, thanks. I'll start the post-processing tonight.
I didn't re-check to see where the special-q stopped but I'm guessing at 2/3 complete.

bsquared 2013-02-19 03:10

Results tomorrow, hopefully:
linear algebra completed 38655 of 7987552 dimensions (0.5%, ETA 18h 3m)
bsquared 2013-02-19 04:10

Nevermind, results tomorrow, for sure:
linear algebra completed 118376 of 7987552 dimensions (1.5%, ETA 10h27m)
Right away a C158 that so far has withstood 900 curves at 1M.
