Apparently Asrock have figured out a way of over clocking the base clock again. The question remains whether using this external base clock generator is as stable as using the internal one in a k-cpu.
This war between Intel and the motherboard manufacturers is amusing.

I'm quickly becoming an ASRock fanboy. It started for me when I learned (thanks George) of their ability to OC DDR4-2133 ram on budget (non-z) boards. Allows me to reliably squeeze an extra 6% or so of prime hunting goodness out of my latest builds.
