I'm new to this subforum, here's what I got from the various sources: I reserve a sequence so I'm reasonably sure no one else wastes CPU on it. Upload results to factordb from time to time. If it merges (already known big factors should give a hint, I suppose) or terminates, post on the relevant forum. When I don't work on it anymore, release the sequence. Please correct me if I got something terribly wrong.

You got it right. Have a look to the [URL="https://www.rechenkraft.net/aliquot/AllSeq.html"](in)famous blue page[/URL], too, if you didn't already (we think you did, but just in case). There, all reservations and progress are accounted.
