Name Change?
 

Is it possible to request a username change? If so, could a moderator reply or pm me?

Send a PM to Xyzzy. He's the grand poobah of the forum..

Or send a PM to me with the name you want to have, and I will try very hard to talk you out of it... :razz:
Possible lines: "What? That is not a name!" or "Nice, we had a poor drunk on our street who was called so", etc.
(maybe that's a nice subject for a new ho-pouri thread? hehe)

I understand that name changes will disconnect you from your previous incarnation (break links.) However, you are in a favorable state with only ten posts. One way to accomplish this, I think, would be to start a new user account. That would necessarily have a different name (I think.) If you publicize the change, I think people would adapt pretty quickly.

But as suggested, PM Xyzzy (Mike) first. :mike:

Nothing of the sort. It is an internal database update. user id will remain the same.

I, for one, love it. I'm in the habit of building dummy points in my DCS and naming them, "Ya_Big_Dummy" so that when the system alarms the operator gets a flashing noise filled bit of my opinion of their skills.
