Awesome, more people. :)

Thought this would be a single effort by me. Nice to see someone join it. Welcome to the project!
I can´t get you all the honor for the primes found here alone. Together we will find a lot of them. I´m sure. Maybe, someone else joins here in future.

Okay, first 2 files are running since around 0500 GMT. ETA ~1 week. Box is doing 40 tests per hour, so we will see.

If there should be really a reportable prime , the tag for the proof-code is also "PrimeSearch, srsieve" and "LLR"?

I'm sure if you guys start finding primes, others will show up. There like a magnet. In the mean time, I need some primes to post in the 1st post.

Hopefully there is such a nest like today at the automated drives. That would be fun.

Looks like "PrimeSearch" is now "NPLB".
Clusters are hard to predict but just because you guys are doing it manually
doesn't mean it can't happen. There are 92 k's in this run. The port 8000 run has 500k's, so they had a better chance for a nice run, but I've seen stranger things happen. I've had manual files about this size where I found 3 or 4 primes in it. Ya just never know.

To be a nit pick: It's actually 93 k's in this run -and- port 8000 has 300 k's.

As for the run on port 8000 this morning: I believe that was the single greatest run we've ever had within such a small n-range for such large tests. The new folks got to see a gem!

Svenie25 2009-04-23 06:29

Short update before I got to leave my main box for the week end. ~1000 tests done over both files. No prime found so far.
Maybe I set my old box at home at port 9000 or so for the weekend.

gamer007 2009-04-23 09:46

422K-423K is finished. No primes.
Results file is too big, so it's been emailed.

EDIT: Reserving 430.4K-431K.

gamer007 2009-04-24 05:04

423K-424K is completed. The lone prime has been reported already.
Results are too big, so it's being emailed again.

EDIT: I hope the files are going through. Reviewing the email, Gmail states the files are 102KB, but upon downloading them from Gmail, they're the proper size (both are close to ~275KB).
