yes very far in the 3.5M+ yet one node with 8 finishing cores in range 2.95M - 3.2M suffered from heat problems and it yet has to be fixed coming week or so. I expect it to be up and running next week or so. So it doesn't make sense to call it for sure there are no primes in those ranges.

Odds become very realistic though next prime is > 1M digits.

Then after that i need a check i checked all the exponents i had to check.

My machines are not networked (poor man's security against consultants sneaking around) so each core has its own job.

Of course i found already 2 more primes than i had expected to find within this range, so i'm not complaining in that sense :)

edit: checked up to 2.98M all exponents once - more info 2 weeks from now.

No problems about the way you test the numbers just be sure to test every one at least once! :smile:

It's getting winter here soon, so in order to not catch a cold i have no option except to increase number of cores at 69 :)

Yo, i have 1 box do clean up of remnants (left behind because of overheated box). Expect 2 cores might take weeks doing that. If they finish everything searched one time till 3.5M here.

Yo cleanup goes slow. 4 cores need to finish batch there. Week from now everything should have been checked once until around 3.42M and then when some finishing core finishes its slow moving batch some months from now it's rather unlikely there is a yet undiscovered prime underneath 3.50M

So odds start to get very small now there still is a prime under 3.42M

LLR times really slowed down going from some finishing 3.0M range as compared to for example 3.68M range. About 50% slowdown. Running currently 24 cores.

update: everything between 2.5M to 3.57M (so not all in 3.57M have finished yet up to 3.56M has been completely finished) has been checked once.

RPS i assume has finished up to 2.5M by now meaning everything for 69 * 2^n - 1 up until 3.56M has been checked once.

Busy checking up to 4M now.
Will take many months to finish everything until 4M.
